My family of 4 is visiting out of town from Houston and was craving Italian food nearby our Airbnb. Found this place on Yelp and saw the numerous reviews so decided to check it out. The outdoor patio area looked very nice but it was too warm to dine outdoors but the indoor seating was very cool and casual with huge walk decor and a bar. Our server Gabby was so welcoming and friendly. She immediately offered to bring out dough balls as a distraction so the kids can play while waiting. There weren't many kid options on the menu but the pricing was very reasonable. We ordered the cheese pizza and Mac & cheese, which they ate almost half. I was surprised the Mac & cheese came with its own garlic bread! Kids entrees also came with an ice cream! For our adult entrees, we got the spaghetti parmesano & tortellini formaggio with blackened chicken. We were so hungry and cleared our plates! It was so delicious. I really like the garlic bread complements the pasta so well. Overall, it was a great experience!

The shrimp scampi is--hands down--one of THE best I ever had before.! There was a delay in our order, though both the waiter and the manager on duty were reassuring and offered a complimentary appetizer. The atmosphere was romantically lit, a great choice of Motown music but could have been turned down in volume a bit. This was overall great dining experience that my partner and I will return to for future date nights!

I don't normally choose to eat at Italian restaurants but I'm SO glad I tried this place out. The service was great and the food came out fast! We enjoyed the mocktails and I recommend the corazon punch. The calamari was good but I would like it a little less chewy. The highlights for me were the pesto tortellini, tiramisu, and vanilla bean gelato. I genuinely think the pesto tortellini changed my life LOL.

My favorite Italian spot! My husband and I often come here for a date night and take advantage of their happy hour deals. My favorite pasta is the fettuccine arrostiti that is packed with flavor and a spicy kick. If I'm deleing something healthier, I opt for the filling Farmers Market salad!

I came here with the family for a birthday dinner. Food was delicious and came out at a reasonable time. Service was good. Parking can be difficult during rush hour, so you may need to park further away and walk. No private parking. They have outdoor and indoor seating. I took one star away because tables could be cleaner and the inside was VERY loud. Can't hear each other talk. And for difficulty of finding parking.

Delicious food, nice friendly service, great ambiance. We noticed a handling fee this time? I'm not sure what that is. 4 stars bc of that.

Good spot for italian food with a well curated menu with a variety of options. It's located in the heart of midtown so it's convenient if spending the day in the area. The staff were very nice, and the place was well maintained and decorated. The music on this day was a touch loud, so it made it hard to have conversation, as other tables were also having to speak loudly. The restaurant takes up two spaces of a larger building, but the two dining rooms aren't connected (yet?) so you will be brought out through the patio into the larger dining room. It was a bit confusing when meeting up with our group as we arrived later but being able to be sat right away is always a plus! The service was good, very polite and knowledgeable but I wished we could have been checked in on a bit more as we wanted to order additional drinks. The food was good. I really enjoyed the Fettuccini Arrostiti and can understand why it's a Paesano's favorite. It's got a hint of heat that doesn't overwhelm the creamy lime sauce or leave your mouth burning. I think it can be hard to fuse Hispanic flavors into Italian food but they really nailed it here. Definitely recommend you give this one a try. My partner ordered the Spaghetti Parmesano which I'm assuming is like a take on chicken parm. It's got the breaded, crispy chicken covered in mozzarella the served over spaghetti with marinara sauce. The only complaint on this dish is that there's not enough sauce. Whereas my dish had plenty of creamy lime sauce, his was on the drier side. We may just need to ask for extra sauce next time.
